The College is not affiliated with these groups and does not endorse their products or services. Never pay a fee to apply for a scholarship. Scholarships
Herb Block Foundation Scholarshipsnew window
Deadlines: June 1 for fall semester and November 10 for spring semester
Established in 2005, The Herb Block Scholarship provides financial assistance to high
school graduates, community college students, and adult learners who wish to continue
their studies at Washington, D.C. area community colleges.
LA Tutors 123 Innovation in Education Scholarshipnew window
Deadline: 20th of each month
Entrants must have designed an innovative project that makes a difference in the lives
of others (e.g., a website, series of blogs, an app, fundraising event, etc.) and
must submit an essay describing the goal of the particular project and provide supporting
documentation. Entrants must have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 (or the equivalent) and
be a citizen of, permanent resident of, or hold a valid student visa in the United
States or Canada.

Criteria of who can apply:
- Must be 18 years old or older
- Must be a permanent legal U.S. resident physically residing in the fifty United States of America or a holder of a valid student visa
- Must be enrolled or planning to enroll in agricultural sciences and other related studies
- Must provide a 500-word essay on or before the Deadline: of December 31, 2025

Mann Lake Beekeeping Scholarshipnew window

Application criteria:
- Must be 18 years or older
- Must be a legal resident of the United States or hold a valid student visa
- Must be currently enrolled in or accepted to a full-time undergraduate or graduate program in an accredited U.S. college or university
- Must be a student/enrollee of any of the following: entomology program, major in agriculture & environmental sciences, or other related studies
The IFMA Foundation Scholarship Capital Chapternew window

Eligibility Requirements for applicants:
- Must be enrolled at an accredited institution for Facility Management, the built environment, or related field. “Degree” (Associate, Bachelor, and Graduate) is determined by your institution at the time of application submission.
- Must have a minimum grade point average (GPA) of 3.2 in FM or related courses. For international students, equivalent documentation of academic achievement level equivalent to a 4.0 GPA. See International Grade Equivalencies as a basis to determine eligibility.
- Applicants awarded a scholarship are required to attend IFMA’s World Workplace Conference and Expo and participate in the IFMA Foundation activities in Minneapolis, MN from September 15-19, 2025.
- • Working students and veterans are encouraged to apply. Students from all parts of the world are invited to apply.
Dunkin’ Scholarshipnew window

Applicants to the Dunkin’ Baltimore/Metro DC Regional Scholarship Program must:
- Be current undergraduate students or high school seniors who plan to enroll in part-time or full-time undergraduate study at an accredited two-year or four-year college, university, or vocational-technical school for the entire upcoming academic year.
- High school seniors must be residents of one of the eligible municipalities listed.
- Undergraduate students must attend school in one of the eligible municipalities listed.
- Students must show a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale (or the equivalent) or higher to be eligible.

Eligibility:
The program is open to legal residents of the 50 states and Washington, D.C. who are at least 18 years old. Between December 2024 and August 2025, they must graduate with an associate’s degree in business or technology from a community college, have a minimum 3.3 GPA and intend to attend a four-year college or university beginning in fall 2025.

Each entry must meet the following eligibility requirements to be considered for the scholarship:
- Must be accepted to a U.S. based university or college
(scholarship funds will be disbursed directly to your school) - All fields of study are eligible
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Must be a legal resident of the United States
- Must submit a written essay between 800 - 1,250 words
- Must provide at least two completed letters of recommendation
