the present moment without first understanding the moments that led to it.
This program will honor and celebrate some of the courageous names and remarkable events that helped shape over a century of struggle, victory, backwards steps, and forward marches. Stonewall was not the beginning, and it certainly wasn't the end. Join us! Discover that there is So Much More Than Stonewall!

Join us for an inspiring performance by Denice Frohman, a powerhouse poet and former
Women of the World Poetry Slam Champion whose work has been featured in The New York
Times, Buzzfeed, and on NPR. Her performances explore identity, culture, queerness,
and social change—and have been seen on stages from The Apollo to The White House.

Moving Dialogues: How Do You Express Joy?
12:00 p.m. to 1:30 p.m.
CU Dance Studio
In a time of heightened anxiety, exploring and expressing joy are more important than
ever. Joy creates space for self-care, community building, and learning. This Moving
Dialogues workshop offers participants the opportunity to practice harmony between
mind, body, and spirit while building community with peers. This 90-minute workshop
uses writing, movement, music, and reflection to guide participants towards joy and
to a deep sense of belonging.
